OUTLINE OF THR LECTURE
This lecture will provide an overview of the current state, problems, and challenges of EU-Japan relations from an insider and practitioner’s perspective. This talk will cover the negotiations about the Japan-EU Economic Partnership Agreement, and recent development in cooperation in the field of security, such as in the joint activities in Central Asia and the fight against piracy in the Gulf of Aden.
